History of Aviva Stadium
First opened in 2010, Aviva Stadium is the first and only UEFA Category 4 stadium in Ireland. It hosted the Europa League Final in 2011 as well as the inaugural Nations Cup. It also hosts international home matches for the national Irish rugby team, and national Irish football team, as well as big, international matches for provincial rugby teams like Leinster and Munster.
