As such, we have been thinking a lot about how we can make better choices for the planet while we watch the nature around us blossom into beautiful colour. At Herbert Park Hotel & Park Residence, we take sustainability seriously, which is why we use paper straws and a glass crusher for recycling in our bar area, so you can enjoy a guilt-free, luxurious drink all year round. 

One of the key aspects of sustainability is reducing our waste. Paper straws are a great way to do just that. Unlike plastic straws, which can take hundreds of years to break down, paper straws decompose much more quickly, reducing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and harming the environment. In addition to paper straws, we also use a glass crusher for disposing of what is used in our bar area. This innovative technology allows us to recycle glass bottles and jars, reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill and conserving resources in the process. By using recycled glass, we can also reduce our carbon footprint, as recycled glass requires less energy to produce than new glass. So, when you're enjoying a Guinness or a glass of Irish whiskey, you can do so knowing that you're supporting a more sustainable future.
